I've been sick to greater or lesser degrees for the better part of a week now. Hence the no posting.
The last workout I did was Wednesday's thrusters workout which was ... uninspiring.
it went something like:
3-3-3-3-3-1-1
45-50-55(f)-45-45-55-55
On Monday I ventured out to social climbing figuring i might do a climb or two, and then head home. GWPC is so much friendlier than BIW - it actually went fairly well. started with a 5.7 - a) because all the 5.8's were taken, and b) because I really felt that weak, but it was actually not a problem at all.
Next I climbed the very friendly 10a/b "Time Cop" - totally clean and easy - that climb just can't be an a/b it's barely an a! But it sure is a confidence booster.
Last I climbed the black 5.9 just on the other side of the wall from 'Time Cop'. I climbed it better than i ever have before. Totally clean - although i still had to struggle my way through the weird arrette move around the corner - but i didn't fall or rest.
That was all the energy i had though. Maybe being tired made me climb more economically or something - but it ended up being a good night.
In other news, today is the 10th anniversary of the day Daniel and I first met. It's been a pretty fantastic 10 years together, and I'm looking forward to many more :)
