It's been a stressful day, and my body has been full of all sorts of vague aches, pains and discomforts that, combined with my general bad mood, had me grousing about going to the gym today, but Rebecca insisted and I did feel better afterwards.
The deadlifts were fine. I'm working on doing them faster so I can finish the set before my grip fails. All of these were done overhand.
Reached the limit of the Shoulder Presses today. 95# is heavy! The fifth rep always felt so close, it just wouldn't get up past my forehead. Maybe next time.

Beware of overtraining. You have developed a lot of discipline, and now you need to develop the discipline to take time off, you simply cannot work out at full volume on a continual basis. I suggest a 1/2 volume week for you, just do the workouts at 1/2 reps or 1/2 weight, your choice.
Next week is a 100% rest week, my first in over a year. Rebecca keeps suggesting that we figure out some workouts to do at the beach, but I'm pretty attached to the idea of sitting on my ass in the shade, swigging beer and reading bad fiction.
I may go easy on the Oreos. That'll be my concession to fitness.
